2 x 24V 2.1kWh lithium battery with BMS and LCD-display in a 19 inch casing, stackable for a variety of uses e.g. as an emergency backup battery or a solar battery. Each module consists of 240 high-quality, long-living Li-Ion cells and an integrated active BMS. The modules can be connected in parallel as a 24V battery bank or in series as a 48V battery bank. The 15cm connection cables for stacked construction and a pair of 200cm extension lead are part of the set.
technical details of the sete
This is a stackable lithium-battery-module set for 24V and 48V systems. It can release 4.2kWh per discharge cycle, corresponding to 180Ah at 24V. In a parallel configuration with other modules this capacity can be increased to 8.4kWh(4 stacked modules) or 16.8kWh (8 modules inside of a rack) respectively. The serial connection allows for 48V setups. The 19" casing can be stored in any commercially available 19" rack. However, with the attached feet, they can also be used and stacked without such a rack. The mainswitches serve as a disconnecter to turn each module off and on. The permanent LCD-Panel shows the charging status of each module and all of the essential information independent of the connected load. The M8 terminals provide sufficient space for 3 cable lugs at a time, therefore enabling the use of 3 cables per terminal.

Supporting the environment with green battery technology and saving money along the way.
Each battery module is made up of 240x18650 brand Lithium-Ion batteries with 3.6V connected in a 40P6S setup. These are high-quality, A-Grade refurbished cells. To make sure of this, each cell has been individually checked ahead of installation. This guarantees the high quality of the modules and minimizes the waste of valuable lithium. The module possesses a nominal voltage of 21.6 volts. Aside from 30A of maximal charging power with 25.2V of charging voltage, it achieves 20A of nominal discharge power continuously as well as 40A of shorttime discharge power for up to 30 seconds.
Extensive security functions through active battery management system
Built in is an active BMS with automatic cell voltage differential compensation to prevent celldrift during continuous operation. This ensures the maximal possible lifetime of the battery module. Furthermore, it provides the following security functions:
1. automatic interruption of discharge when discharging below 16V (recommended external shutdown at 20V)
2. automatic interruption of charge when charging above 25.2V (recommended external shutdown at 24.9V)
3. automatic interruption of discharge at currents above 40A (short ciruit protection)
4. over temperature protection above 50 degrees Celsius cell temperatur while charging
5. over temperature protection above 70 degrees Celsius cell temperatur while discharging
The charging and discharging interruption function is designed as an emergency shutdown. The battery module should not be operated without a charge regulator, which keeps the charging voltages and currents within the recommended limits and only charges at temperatures above 5 degrees Celsius. An example of a solar charge controller with individual Li-Ion voltage regulation is the Blue- or SmartSolar 100/30 from Victron or epever tracer3210A.
extensive, illuminable LCD-Panel
All revelant battery data is permanently accessible through the large and clear display. The battery % in form of a battery symbol, the current flow of electricity both during charging and discharging in amperes, the current voltage of the battery module in volts and the current power in watts. In addition, the battery module automatically calculates the following values: last capacity of the module in Ah and sum of the kWh delivered by the module since the last reset. In order to keep an overview at night, the display can be illuminated if necessary. This way, all values are always fully accessible.
stable casing in 19'' format
The case body is made of sturdy steel, the front of elegant 3mm balck anodized aluminum. Up to 4 modules of this type can be stacked on top of each other using the rubber feet. The housing can also be installed in 19 inch rack cabinets individually or together with other modules. The case height corresponds to exactly 2 height units. The rubber feet can be removed for this type of installation. Due to the short construction depth of only 30 cm (without handles), the modules can not only be installed in rack cabinets with a standard depth but also in short rack cabinets with a total depth of only 45 cm. This is recommended when using more than 4 modules.
